Cee Bailey's BMW K 1200R Replacement Windshields (Euro Cut Touring Shield 20")

The new, K1200R windshields that we manufacture offer more protection than the standard BMW flyscreen, or the optional BMW sportshield. We offer three models & sizes to fit your style of riding. Each shield is predrilled and hand polished for high luster, and is made to fit on the standard BMW optional sportshield hardware. We provide the hardware for mounting to your bike. Installation takes about 5 minutes. All shields are manufactured in-house, using .125 aircraft grade acrylic, and are D.O.T. approved, with the exception of the opague black shield.
The touring and euro touring shields offer the most wind deflection for the torso and helmet zones. The euro offers more wind protection on the shoulder area, and reduced wind signature noise in the helmet than the standard touring shield. The euro touring has more area at the right and left upper apexes of the shield, which contributes to the enhanced protection for the rider and passenger. The (3) sport shields all have the same base widths, but the sides gradually slope inward for a more sleek, OEM type look.
Note: If your bike has the original flyscreen (BMW p/n 4663 7 686 636), you will need to order the additional mounting kit for mounting our shield. All BMW hardware and additional hardware, screws and washers are included in the kit. The kit is $49.97, and can be purchased online when ordering your shield.

WINDSHIELD HEIGHT: How to choose your height/width |

If you have a stock , non-adjustable windshield, go to step #2. If your stock shield is mechanically adjustable, lower it to the bottom or lowest position. If your windshield is electrically adjustable (RT, LT, FJR, C14) extend it about a quarter (25%) of the way up. |

Get a measuring tape or yardstick. |

Move your bike to a level spot. |

4. |
Tape the yardstick to the center of the windshield with masking tape, from the bottom of the shield, and with the yardstick pointing straight up. |

Sit on your bike. What you trying to do is draw an imaginary line, parallel with the ground, from approximately your chin position while riding, to the yardstick. I.E, if an imaginary parallel line from your chin to the yardstick, measures about three inches above the top of your current shield, you would be best suited by a +3” taller shield. Width is dependant on your body type, more robust riders will want more width for better torso protection, while a smaller stature rider may use a stock width that is perfectly acceptable. |

Returns
Any item* purchased from CBAP, Inc. may be returned for a refund within for 30 days from original shipment date with no restock fee, less shipping and handling charges, if the item is new, and has not been mounted. Please refer to specific product notes for more information. Items must be returned in new, resellable condition in original box/packaging material. A service charge(15%-45%) will be assessed for windshields that have been mounted or are in need of processing for any scratches or markings that need to be polished out and removed. Generally, scratches that can be felt with your fingernail are too deep to be removed, and the windshield must be scrapped. Items returned after 31 days will be refunded less a 20% restocking charge, to the same conditions listed above. All returned items are subject to inspection, and must be as new, unmodified and undamaged. Returned items must be shipped prepaid and insured, and have a “Cee Baileys Aircraft Plastics” Return Authorization Number (RMA) written on the outside of the shipping container, next to the shipping label. Please call sales for RMA number and authorization. After 60 days all sales are final and no refunds will be given. NOTE: This Return Policy ONLY Applies to Clear and Light Gray Tinted Windshields, No Exceptions.

Warranty
Our windshields and products are warranted against defective materials and workmanship. The warranty is limited only to the replacement of the defective parts(s). There is no allowance for labor cost incurred during installation and removal of a defective part. Our warranty does not cover cracking, crazing, scratches or breakage. Any item shipped to us without proper authorization will be refused. Please call sales for RMA number and authorization. |
